The Amazing Power of Articles to Drive Traffic to Websites

Author : Jim Green

Most experienced marketers are in awe of the amazing power of
articles.

Distributed in a consistent and structured submission pattern,
they provide a force to drive insane amounts of traffic to any
website.

And yet some online enthusiasts shy away from article submission
in the mistaken belief that the process is tedious and time
consuming whereas nothing could be further from the truth.

Certainly there is something of a learning curve to be
negotiated in the matter of creative writing but with the amount
of assistance available online nowadays, that is not a problem
for anyone requiring tuition.

A sound practice for beginners is to examine how knowledgeable
writers tackle the procedure.

1. How they craft compelling headlines 2. How they relate the
story seamlessly from the start to the finish 3. How they
interlace the text with core keywords 4. How they break up
forbidding blocks of copy with bullet points and numbers 5. How
they use short chunky paragraphs for ease of reading 6. How they
couch the all-important resource box

Studying the output of experienced practitioners opens the
gateway to the prime source of creative writing in its
application to article composition.

Twenty six funny looking little characters that come together to
provide 1984 pages of The Chambers Dictionary with 300,000 word
definitions and 215,000 references; they are the fodder for
countless millions of letters, books, poems, plays, and articles
down the ages and in perpetuity.

They are the colors in the virtual paint box that can be mixed
and matched to produce hundreds of thousands of words to
communicate and illuminate thousands of online articles.

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

No one can steal a march on beginners when they use these
characters creatively and wisely; no one can cheat by adding to
or subtracting from the list. And no one can staunch their
creativity when beginners capitalize on the amazing power of
words to compose articles.

There is no gain without some pain but here is what is in store
for beginners who take the trouble to master article composition
and distribution:

- Articles establish writers as experts in their particular
areas of skill

- Articles help increase sales

- Articles generate floods of website traffic

- Articles increase Google Page Rank

- Articles to boost Alexa ratings

Of equal significance to the aspiring article writer is the
choice of submission software; choose the right one and success
in attracting traffic is all but guaranteed; chose the wrong one
and the result could labelling as an amateur - or worse still, a
spammer.

Jim Green is an online enthusiast and bestselling author with an
ever-growing string of niche non-fiction hard copy titles to his
credit. He has thousands of articles circulating in cyberspace.

GPS Systems

Author : Jason Gluckman
A GPS or Global Positioning System is a collection of two dozen satellites, which revolve around the earth. It is used to determine the location of a reciever on earth. This is done by sending radio signals to the electronic GPS recievers from the satellites. Every satellite has a reciever on earth. These signals contain data on the location of the satellites and the time taken for signal transmission. The satellites are placed twelve thousand miles above the surface of earth and complete 2 orbits every day. The functions of the satellites are periodically checked on and new ones are sent to replace the old ones. With the improvement in technology, accuracy has increased. GPS systems have become more affordable as compared to earlier times. Accuracy differs depending on various factors. Sometimes it can even be as good as a few meters. The GPS systems can be used in a large number of areas. Further, decreases in costs have increased the number of users. Fishermen and hikers can use portable GPS to navigate in the wild. Cars are being equipped with GPS systems, which give drivers better navigation abilities and better protection against theft. It is used by the military to guide cruise missiles to pre-specified targets. Personal hand held devices like wrist watches are equipped with GPS to help in tracking people out and getting their exact location. The system was developed by the Department of Defense of the US. It was initially named NAVSTAR GPS. Of the twenty-four satellites, the first one was launched in 1974 and the last in 1994. The Department of Defense switched off selective availability (SA) on 2 May 2000. The selective availability had been a cause for less accurate readings. The department reserves the right to turn it back on when they see the need to do so. The GPS systems are now about 10 times more accurate than they were when selective availability had been active.GPS provides detailed information on GPS, GPS Tracking, Handheld GPS, GPS Systems and more. SPAM

Author : Chuck Stephens
What is Spam? Well the general consensus is that "spam" is any unwanted email you receive. Companies get your email address through various methods and then send you an email advertising their product or service. When you look at the principle, what better form of advertising could there be. There is virtually no cost to you except maybe to purchase the list and then to generate the email. You just setup a group of email addresses and chose to send your email to everyone in that group and presto off it goes. This is probably the cheapest form of advertising you can have. Many companies use it, and they should as a part of their total advertising budget. What has happened is that because it is so cheap every Tom, Dick and Harry use it. Much of the material you receive is unwanted and many times it is objectionable material to the receiver.A question arises. We have the Constitutional right to advertise our business or service. I think that is called "Freedom of Speech". My problem is that much of this material I receive I did not ask for or for that matter do not want. The come back is, so what, just delete it, you don't have to read it. That may be true, but what if one of my children sees it first. Here in lies the problem. This article will not solve this issue. The only choice you have at the present time is to use some sort of "Spam" blocker. Most of this software must be purchased by the consumer. I did not want it from the beginning, why do I have to buy something to stop something I didn't want in the first place. A discussion for some other time.If you use Microsoft's Outlook 2003 there is a spam filter built into the package. That makes it some what easier. There or other spam filters available on the market. You should look into them. Now the problem I have with spam blocking software is that I must configure it to filter out certain email types, categories and words. I happen to use Outlook 2003. The filter is nice, but I have found that there have been instances that email I wanted was put into the filtered email category. So I have too view each email separately even the ones put into the Spam category to make sure that I don't miss any email. Using filters require you to periodically reconfigure the filters. Now I ask you, the time I spend first going through the spam filtered email and the configuration time, I have found that if I turn off the filters and just go through each and every email and delete the ones I don't want takes far less time. All of my email is opened by me only so any objectionable email I just delete. This may not be an option for everyone. So maybe the filters are better for you. This is a problem that I suppose will never go away. With the ability to advertise so cheaply there will always be someone that will attempt to circumvent the filters and send the email. No form of legislation will completely solve this problem. At the present time get out the check book and bite the bullet and buy some form of spam filtering software package. Look around there are many, many out there. Some are good and some are not so good. Ask your friends for recommendations, read a few magazine articles, what ever it takes. The employees at some of the retail stores have some knowledge in this area ask them. This is one of several articles I have written in the Computer field. I have been in the computer industry for over 15 years. I love it and now I am branching out. Unwanted intrusions to computrs is an area of interest and concern to me. My name is Chuck Stephens and I can be reached at cstep@3rdm.net. No web site or anything to sell yet.

Want To Sell Your Greeting Cards – Find Out If You Have What It Takes

Author : David W. Allen
Before going into any business you need to evaluate yourself in order to define what strengths and weaknesses you have. If you are proficient in one area and lacking in another you need to identify this. When doing your self-assessment, try answering the following questions:
Do you enjoy making greeting cards enough to do it for a living? Are you familiar with the different techniques and tools of trade of making greeting cards? Are you prepared to do everything yourself - accounting, marketing, attend craft fairs, etc - to run your business successfully? What time of day/night do you do your best work? What equipment, hardware, and/or software do you need to do your work? How many hours can you work per day?
These are all important questions to consider, but don't be put off by them it is just a process to help you identify your strengths, weakness and reasons for going into business. It's better to get this out and understood at the beginning that way you can identify what areas to build and improve on as you build your business. Now if you think you don't have everything it takes to successfully operate your own greeting card business then I think you would be wrong. I'll tell you why. People who fail in business are usually people who give up and don't take action and do not continue to educate themselves in their profession. You have already done one very important thing that the majority of people do not do - Take Action. By purchasing this book you have show that you are serious about building a business and learning about what it takes to do just that. This investment will be the first of many in your journey to businesses success because information leads to knowledge and knowledge is POWER! Never stop empowering yourself. The Fastest Way to Succeed in Any BusinessThe first time I was told this secret something clicked in my head, it was like I had a revelation, it was that one thing I needed to know to make it all clear. I was at a world internet and business conference and one of the speakers, a world recognized expert in his field said these following words:
"Fail as fast as you a can in your business because the more you fail the closer you are getting to success"If there is anything you take away from this book make sure it is this. The fear of failing is one of the most common reasons business owners fail in business, because they fear making a mistake. That is why they fail. Think about it for a moment. How do we learn in life, what has moulded you into the person you are today? Life experience and failing and making mistakes is what educates us and helps us grow. This very rule applies to business. Without failure you will not move forward, so fail as fast as you can so you can get to success quicker. The Quickest Way To Start Selling Greeting CardsOne of the quickest ways to start selling greeting cards are to go to a craft fair, hold an open house, or rent a kiosk. However, one single method may not get you going as quickly as using more than one method at the same time.Craft Fairs or Trade ShowsA craft fair or trade show is a good way for new business owners to get started because you can schedule to attend the event in advance, prepare the cards you need for the event in advance, and test your knowledge of your target market at the show.If your target market research did well and you picked the best event for your market, then you will most likely sell some greeting cards. If the show did not do as well as you anticipated, you can learn from the event and go to another show. This is a good thing compared to those who immediately open a shop and find they did not pick the best location for their target market. But do not let it stop there. As you are meeting people at the show, hold a raffle for a free box of gift cards. Collect everyone's name, email, and mailing address as a way to promote your business later. Keep a database of all customers, potential customers, and referral customers so that you can send the promotional materials and catalogs in the future.Troubled times typically help people realize that life is richer when family and friends reach out to one another. That simple fact of life is a key reason why the greeting card category has been doing much better this year."When the going gets tough, people yearn to be close and connect with people and things most important to them," said Marianne McDermott, executive vice president of the Greeting Card Association. "And sending a card to remember those we care about helps both the giver and the receiver."Author: David W. Free Speech Under Attack in Israel

Author : David Ben-Ariel
Israel likes to pride itself on being a Western nation, and in too many ways (idolatry and immorality) it is. However, in too many other ways their bought and paid for leaders act like they're old-style Russian Communists who hate religion and the religious and will exert a brazen double-standard in enabling the left to get away with murder (remember Yitzhak Rabin?) and persecute the right for any trumped up charge or wild accusation. Those precious Israelis of American descent are particularly "troublesome" to the hardcore leftists who aren't used to such independent thought (1 Kings 18:17), who abhor any who dare question the State, and who cherish their God-given rights of freedom of speech and religion. Israel is blessed to be like a Western nation in this regard, to the extent that those of American and other Western Israelite democracies are free to live and prosper in the Jewish homeland, free to set a noble example for the nation to follow, and free from politico-religious persecution.Nadia Matar is one of the precious Israelis of freedom-loving American origin who is now under fire for expressing her heartfelt Jewish opinion in the letter that appears below, something that would be considered harmless in the United States. Yet, in today's quickly disintegrating Israel, Nadia Matar (Co-chair of Women For Israel's Tomorrow/Women In Green) has been indicted for it!The outrageous charge in the insulting indictment is "Insulting a Public Servant." More than a year ago, Nadia wrote her open letter, a public plea, to Yonatan Bassi (head of the Disengagement Authority -- the man responsible for forcibly evicting Jews from their homes in Gush Katif/Gaza/Samaria). Is this further proof that Freedom of Speech, and legitimate discussion is verboten (forbidden) in Israeli-style democracy? Judge for yourself:Fast of Gedaliah 5765 (2004),
September 19,2004
To Mr. Yonatan Bassi,
Head of the Deportation AdministrationRe: Help in writing your letter to the Jews of Gush KatifI read on the Internet that in the coming days you will send a personal letter to each of the inhabitants of Gush Katif who are designated for deportation. Your letter contains a "personal appeal and initial explanation of the evacuation process." According to the report in YNet, the final version of the letter has not yet been formulated, and therefore I am volunteering to "help" you formulate the letter. I am attaching a document that is chillingly similar to what you are about to send - and, actually, all you need to do is to change the date (from 1942 to 2004) and the place of the deportation (from Berlin to Gush Katif) and, here, your letter is ready. The document is a letter from 1942 to the Jews about the upcoming deportation from Berlin. The letter was sent to the candidates for deportation by the Jews of the Judenrat (the Disengagement Authority), in cooperation with the Nazi authorities. The document goes into great detail as to where the people will be transferred, what they are to take with them, and what they are to leave behind. The letter can be found at
Yad VaShem. The document ends with an emotional appeal by the heads of the Jewish community in Berlin to act calmly, and thereby facilitate the work of the deportation. "We fervently request that you obey the orders and perform all the preparations for the transport in a calm manner. The members of our community who are designated for immigration should be aware that they con decisively contribute to the smooth implementation of the transport by their personal conduct and orderly compliance with all the orders. Needless to say, we will do all that is in our power, to the extent that this is permitted us, to stand by the members of our community and offer them all possible aid" [Council of the Jewish Community in Berlin, 1942].How similar is this to your words, when you say in various interviews how much you "identify with the pain of the settlers of Gush Katif," and how important it is that you, specifically, are involved in their deportation, in order to ease the process. But all of your declarations will be of no avail, Yonatan. The truth is that you are a modern version of the Judenrat - actually, a much worse version, because then, during the Holocaust, this was forced upon those Jewish leaders by the Nazis, and it is extremely difficult for us, today, to judge them. Today, no one stands with a gun to your head and forces you to collaborate in the crime, without any conscience pangs. Yes, I know. There is a difference between then and now.The goal of the Nazi monster - that also annihilated most of my family - was the physical annihilation of the Jewish people, a physical Holocaust. But let's not pretend to be innocent: the goal of the deportation from Gush Katif and northern Samaria is the annihilation of the entire Jewish settlement in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza, as an interim stage of a spiritual Holocaust: the elimination of the state as a Jewish state, and its transformation into a secular state, a state of all its citizens, without any Jewishness. Not to mention, of course, the bloody price that we will have to pay for our retreat. If the criminal Oslo accords cost us more than 1000 victims, Sharon's deportation plan will give such a push to the Nazi Arab terror (for the Arabs will see that Israel's folding is proof that terror pays) that I fear to think how many Jews will pay with their lives for Sharon's "disengagement."In conclusion - I wish to correct the empty words by Minister Poraz, who said today that "a Jew, too, may be an anti-Semite." This sentence should be: "History has proven that Jews are the biggest anti-Semites." And, Yonatan, you should know that there is no escape from the simple truth: whoever participates in the deportation of the Jews of Gush Katif and northern Samaria - participates in an anti-Semitic act, and will be remembered as such, for everlasting shame. It is still possible for you to resign from your abhorrent post and arrive at Yom Kippur, the Day of Judgment, clean and at peace with your conscience, without being part of the modern Judenrat - the Deportation Authority.Nadia Matar, Co-Chairperson of (Women in Green)David Ben-Ariel is a Christian-Zionist writer in Ohio and author of Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall.
